Took some shots of my model today...lots

Dig the groovy color activity...I'm not overly pleased with this thing, it has its merits, I suppose. I had big plans that were squashed by my deadline. I'm going to pull together the drawings and other stuff that I did and make a portfolio spread soon. At the presentation no one noticed that I sprayed every push pin on the wall behind me the maroon body color. Always point out shit like that or you won't get credit!

Quickly:

Holy shit!
Love the top back corners, where the out skin rips at the tension seams...

...more tomorrow.

What material is this model made from?
Looks incredibly sleek, especially sitting on a wood base.
I wish there was more color contrast between the gray enclosure and the maroon body, but maybe that is just a result of the lighting when photographing?

The model is all blue foam, except for the side mirror and the ribs in the wheels. The model was coated with watered down joint compound--I posted a shot of the model in the joint compound phase a while ago...interesting to see it in white now that its been painted.

Do you mean a greater contrast in value? I think very dark might have looked nice...I'll photoshop it...

Yea, I feel like the maroon looks muted in these pictures.

I bow down before your insane blue foam craft!
