Polygons

The purple accent on the chair is by far the best feature of this piece...awesome color. I would like to see more differentiation between the color you use for depth and the guitar...it gets a little muddy.

my initial reaction is that it reminds me of the still lifes that picasso did of guitars- the image has the same sort of angular and disjointed (polygons) aesthetic, and also has a bit of the same flatness that paul is referring to due to the color- i also like the spatial yet abstract nature of the background- and wonder how that spatiality and the flatness of the guitar can play off each other- especially in the context of your previous "deeper" drawings- picasso was trying to create a new vision of the world- what is your vision?

I concede on the color issues. The mud is there and not intentional. I was going for a feeling of haze. My vision is of an interacting world of space and shape! And straight lines!
