dave, you should model this guy to bring him to life. the little ball on top of his head would be a lot of fun to see, in relation to his stout body movements.

The bottom two seem more compelling...they don't detract from the color vibrancy of the subject(s) as with the upper two.
I'd love to see your little guy from another angle, maybe from slightly above, front?
